A drug you cant free yourself from. I've been without a bike for a few months now but crave to pop a wheelie every day Laughing

There was an article on this in I think [cringe] MCN. It showed that like gambling, motorcycling produces a chemical similar in addictiveness to cocaine. There were some people interviewed who said if they didn't ride their bike for a few days, they would go through physical withdrawal symptoms. Must be a bit of a git, as I bet like cocaine you need to do more and more (or in the case of biking more and more extreme things) to get a 'high' off it as your body becomes resistant.

I remember when my engine seized, and I was bikeless for a week, I went mad, I couldn't ride my bike, so I tried my bicycle, it wasn't nearly as good, so I spent all my time sat looking at my bike, taking off panels to clean them etc,

I get where your coming from on the whole its a drug thing Razz

I haven't ridden my bike in about a week and I saw a dead baby with a rotating head on my ceiling last night.

I haven't ridden in about 5 months!
At first it was killing me, I just wanted to ride but couldn't. Then it got easy and I started getting used to public transport again. Even got myself an oyster card (make some good savings with that!). Laughing

That was until I went pillion on Type_Mo's Hornet the other day! Fuck, I want to ride a bike again badly. I really miss it. Crying or Very sad

Do not worry, because I will return to the bike soon. Cool

Thumbs Up Mr. Green
