Today, someone mentioned something about some new exhaust regulations which allow non-OEM exhaust systems on road going bikes. Apparently they no longer need to be stamped with "CE" and as long as they dont have "for track use only" (or something like that) stamped on them, they are legal to use.

Can anyone clarify this situation? Is there a website with the relevant info?

Well they will pass MOT's in that state now....Have done for a couple of years. Thumbs Up

In addition to that there is more emphasis on on the testers descrection so if they think its too loud it could still fail despite not having the race use or not for road use markings
