Ive tried removing it but it only moves so far, There is a little clip that you must squeeze together and remove then the baffle slides forwards about 15mm then wont budge anymore, ive tried some metal grease and it didnt help

Exhaust off
Broom handle shoved through the inlet and slight bit of force knocks it out.

Thumbs Up

How on earth a 30degree bend? Is it a scooter exhaust? Confused

Other way to pull out baffles is to grip with pliers, turn it around and then pull out. They don't come STRAIGHT out.

nope its not a scooter exhaust, the can goes along like a normal one then angles down a bit to meet the pipe coming from the cylinder.

They dont come straight out????

No what I mean is grip it with pliers and try and turn it either clockwise or anti clockwise and then really try and yank it out.

They are made to be a tight fit, don't be scared of man handling the bugger. Smile Kinda bike is it for?

Honda Xr125, i know its a silly waste of money for an exhaust for a 125, but its my bike and my money:p and its sounds really nice. Ill give it a go tomorrow when i get in from work. Im guessing ill need to rejet the carbs with the baffle out?

Doubt it'll do much harm to leave it as is mate. See how it rides first. If it's just like before or not any worse, leave it. Thumbs Up
