I've never owned a bike with an alarm, however I believe you need to put it into service mode if it has one, do you have the paper work for the alarm? If not ring a dealership up I'm sure they'll help you over the phone.

Other wise, long extension cord and charge the battery while it's on the bike?

Just charge the battery on the bike, I always have if I needed to with no problems. Wink

...Or as said above put the alarm into service mode and remove the battery.

Laughing We had some great fun with this when we were pulling apart the Cat. While it was all coming out I put duct tape over the speaker which dulled it well, and when I just had the frame left I just pulled out every fuse I could see. Laughing

why not just put the alarm in sevice mode

get a manual for the alarm it will tell you how in there

usually you turn the ignition on then press the button as if to arm the alarm then turn ignition off

To put mine in service mode you turn the ignition on then hold down the button, and turn it off again.

edit:- or do what I do, Go for a long ride to charge it up.
