i seem to be the only rider that has a helmet where you can see my nose and mouth when im wearing it

i thought it was down to helmet design, but i hear more and more about breath guards, is this correct?

can you get them for any helmet, cos i reckon i look stupid in my helmet

and also, tank guards, like a sticky thing that goes on the back of the tank, what is it for? other than to look cool?

tank guards stop the tank from being scratched by a zip or your jacket. i dunno much on the breath guards though.....perhaps they stop your visor from mistin up alot i dunno ????

Hi

The breath guards are totally useless for those of us who wear glases. They just direct enough of your breath up inside the lenses and steam up double quick

All the best

Hi
Ive got a foggy breath guard in my AGV helmet, it does help quite alot, and i think it make's u look cooler when u lift ure visor, like a fighter pilot or summin. I took mine off once and i couldnt bear it cause i looked such a dick without it and i suddenly became very self concious, spose like the people who hate riding without a black/irridium visors, aghhhhh but it back, yeah get one mate they fit all hemets , but are a bugger to get in the right place but make u look cool man

They don't fit all helmets. I bought one for my dianese and there was nowhere for the velcro to stick to. I had to settle for that antifogging plastic shit that sticks to the visor.

YAY

i got my breath guard today, its wicked

fits perfectly

makes the helmet look about 10 times better

it changes the way the air currents move inside the helmet, so thats gonna take some gettin used to, for example, it diverts air into my eye when i do a lifesaver which is annoying
but i just gotta adjust it a bit and get used to it

its wicked though!

Dianese helmets aren't pricey when you convince the salesman you're a true biking hero Wink
Just bought one - all sparkly and black. Yum yum.

It has a nose protector (?) like a mini breath thingy...but it won't stay in place Confused - maybe it's my monged right hand not working properly yet hmmmmm
