Well i just bought a new battery charger for 19.99 of cars accesories shop, it's a car charger so i don't know if it's appropriate to use it on my bike...

It's a 12v Battery Charger 'SPARKRITE' It says that it has 8amps max output and that it's ideal for cars 1600cc and over. Well my bike is only NSR with 125cc lol

I have been told that it will do as long as i keep an eye on battery and disconnect it if it gets hot so it doesn't fries.

Can anyone confirm on if it's safe to use on my bike battery?
And on how long should i have it on charge aproximatly ?

Not really - its too powerful.
If your battery is low you could put it on for 30 minutes or so to get you going.
Leave it on overnight and a good chance your battery will be pooped.

You'll need to watch it like a hawk. An 8amp charger will overheat a flat bike battery and kill it in no time.

Bike battery charger will be rated closer so half an amp Smile
