Here is kens story about how my weekend turned out to be a disaster,

Here goes, Saturday I was on a natural high done good business at work, girlie rings up, you fancy a few beers after work kc, for sure meet you at the club and watch the rugby, which we did.

So 7.30 arrives and it’s time to move on, well a mate has taken over a pub in close proximity, so we decide to move on there, by the way I was drinking speckled hen at the club, in the pub no decent ales so I go on to the Stella (GASP HORROR) well after a few local fights I thought it was time for a harp (sharp exit) so I go home a bit merry, but felt ok (well I thought I was) so 1am comes around and I need the toilet, which in the prehistoric house I live in, is downstairs, so the fifth step from the bottom my left foot slips and catches every edge of the remaining steps until the bottom, albeit covered by carpet is concrete,

Get my breath back, WTF, limp to the toilet should be ok later (done many a time before) next day, Sunday, gota take me son to football, FUCK cant walk, shit shit and fckng shit, cant put any weight on me foot

Makes a calls to a mate gets a lift for us both to footy, by this time I have borrowed next doors neighbours crutches (so he aint going anywhere) to get the boy to footy

By the way they win 3-1 away,

So wifey decides to take me to the hospital yesterday Monday, A fifteen mile trip which is a road I know very well, through biking and at one stage working there,

We set off keeping to all the speed restrictions that the government/council set in place, we eventually get out of the town, from there Angela the wifey, hits every pot-hole every drain cover, every divet in the road for 15 miles, I dare not say a word, pain was starting to grip me big time by then, and I didn’t want to walk the rest of the way (so gob shut kc) we arrive at the hospital at 9.30 go through the motions, nurse then doctor, then x-ray, get out at 2.30

WTF, the bone in my heal has fractured cross ways, “for you medics in the house”
So I’m plastered up, I go back tomorrow for another x-ray then foobared for 6 weeks

The shit bit

Booked keane tickets for 23rd at Nottingham for her birthday surprise, but more seriously, booked a weekend away 2nd 3rd 4th of March with my local bike club to go to fort William camping and was gona climb Ben Nevis for the third time
Not anymore
So please tell me your weekend was shit to cheer my ass up

One more thing I’m paying for the gym and cant attend, but mate is bringing me some pain relief around later Thumbs Up

Bad luck mate, if it helps, i'm a metalhead and i work at a cheesy nightclub for old people on Friday and saturday nights. So not only can i not go out and enjoy myself, but i have to be molested by old women and listen to the latest shite music.

Keep your chin up Laughing

My weekend was ace!

It's been the best weekend I've had in ages, I won't go into great detail but there's a female in there somewhere, several friends a trip to the zoo and alcohol, really made me appreciate what a great life I actually lead.

Roll on next weekend and many more after, they're looking to be great for a long time now. Mr. Green

I'm sorry but it was much more meaningful than just 'getting laid', I think I made a 'connection' you see and to also be around some great friends at the same time the weekend was amazing.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, I keep going off into day dreams about how great my weekend was.

I've told you not to touch my ass again Shaun.

But yes, we had an ace weekend. See Dudley Zoo thread! Smile

Hope you get well soon, and you get full use of your foot again.

My wife had a miscarraige on staurday, she was 12 weeks gone and ended up delivering the foetus whilst waiting to go to theatre.

So, my weekend sucked more than a painful foot.

Happy?

Crying or Very sad

I hope you're both OK. You need to look after each other.

My sister's first baby miscarried at 12 weeks. Whilst horrible at the time, you do get through it.

She now has a healthy 2 year old boy. Smile

Chin up.

Don't you feel a c*nt now after reading that.

My week is sucking almost as much as his. Feel better?

What I'm saying is... Yes breaking your leg is sh1t. But you know in 6 weeks or so you'll be fine. Be grateful for that. Small mercies (*sp) etc.

Whosthedaddy, very sorry to hear that, my wife lost a baby after 4 months, and she had to go through the natural delivery process, all the pain, to know at the end of it, all you have is dead son, so I do feel for ya guy

Flip, no I don’t feel a cunt, I was putting my weekend story across hopefully in a light hearted way,
And I truly feel for Whosthedaddy

its nice to know there is always someone on bcf who has had a worse weekend than you.

And that a squabble will then ensue as a result of it being mentioned.

Hang in there folks.
