Hi

On the CBR600 and the ZX6R , I've abandoned the'30 project for now since ZX6Rs and CBR6 seem soo cheap, what year / reg did they change to the much cooler looking twin head lamp configuration? ,

And why do Kwaks depreciate so heavily (other than the fact Kwak discount them massively for thenew model) , I'm a seeing 2003 bikes for a shade under 2K (around 33K on the clocks) , while Hondas seem to be 33% more expensive for a bike of similar condition?

Any thoughts?

Ta

Hondas do often cost a fair bit more to start with as you mentioned - ie you could get a recent new ZX6 for £5k 0% finance over three years.

For the ZX6 -
F model 95-97
G model 98-99 (total redesign)
J model 00-01 (few changes, including twin head lights)
A model 02 (same bike as J basically, but with extra 36cc)
B model 03-04 (total redesign, very sporty focus)
C model 05-06 (underseat pipe, less frog-looking headlights)

If it was an 03 B model, then that sounds like a very good deal.
If it was an 03 A model, then it's going to be cheap because it's original basic desin was 6 years old by then.
