I still stand by brasso. I have alloy wheels which took a real hammering over the winter, a few hours and a bit of elbow grease and they are almost mirror finish now.

I've got a vmax that took most of the winter Thumbs Down the laquer is coming off, a bit of sanding around the rim (eer Embarassed) and then a polish with a drill and some brasso.. seems good. But I need to spend much much more time on the wheels. So yes Thumbs Up to brasso

I used briliant polish and found it to be very good, much better than brasso, bit expensive though.

I've a polishing mop on my grinder and a smaller one that fits in a drill, makes life a lot easier. A guy at work gave me two blocks of polishing compound, one white one grey, I have no idea what each is supposed to be used for so I randomly try each one until I get a good finish. Maybe I should of asked Embarassed
