I loved Sin City and 300 was originally written by Frank Miller (the writer of Sin City) and Rodrigez is directing again.

300 looks very dark and you never know you might learn something about ancient greece if you watch it

Doubt you'd learn something from Ancient Greece from Frank Miller's novel. But definately going to see it they day it comes out with all my friends. Remember seeing the trailer months ago and waiting with huge anticipation.

Didn't know Rodriguez was directin though. This will be interesting. I've liked pretty much all his mvoies, 'cept the kiddy ones

The missus is studying Classics at Uni and was on about it the other day.

Probably "slightly" exaggerated but true nonetheless.

Anyway has the best rating ever "R - Graphic battle sequences throughout, Some sexualtiy and nudity.

Can it get any better than that?

No idea. I know the story of the 300 is true but I meant from the movie itself.

Isn't there still guesses as to how big the PErsian army was? I've heard it ranged from 100 000 to 5 million. I thnk the 1 million is truest but then again I don't know.

And the trailer looks amazing. I got a 300 screensaver with stills from the movie.
