Magic Mushrooms

Nah I aint looking for halluciagenic drugs (yeah right!), I dropped my bike last November, £1800 cosmetic damage repaired under fully comp insurance.

I've seen these magic mushrooms/crash dampeners fitted to some sports bikes. Just wondered has anyone fitted them to their bikes with any success?

I havnt and to be honest Im a bit wary of them.
In a light spill they will save your bodywork (or at least most of it) but in a bigger crash they could bugger your frame where otherwise the plastics would of taken the damage.

i went to my local hond dealer and i asked if they could get me sum mushrooms for my nsr he said u cant get them for the nsr is this true

think they only start for 400 cc bikes

I odn't see there's any reason you can't stick them on the NSR... you may have to make some slight modifications, but then apparantly I would need to for my zx6 anyway.
They're only plastic stuck onto a screw thread so it sghouldn't be too hard to get some for a different bike and stick them on the NSR.
