Hi Folks,

I'm looking for a couple of bits for my 2001 TT600 (the two tone model)

Great ride home today, with the added bonus of it still being light when I got home to clean the bike. I noticed that I’m missing one of the fairing bolts, really surprised I missed it getting loose as I give the bike a complete wash down after each trip.. Oh well, it just shows what you miss when washing it in the dark.

Does anyone know, or have contacts with anyone who would know where to get a matching bolt for my fairing from. It's an allan key alloy type. Just over 1cm wide at the head (I think that’s what it’s called?). I've attached a couple of photos if it helps match what I’m after.

Also, just after I spotted that I’ve noticed a couple of parts where the yellow paint seems to have rubbed off. How would I find out what yellow I need, and does anyone know a supplier I can get some from?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Looks just like a standard button head allen bolt, what thread size is it M6?. Measure that and the length of the matching one on the other side and I'll check what the standard head size is tomorrow, got some stainless ones in the shed, I'll send you one if it's same diameter head. If it's a non standard head then you'll have to pay stealer prices.

Checked what I've got, the probable nearest is M6 with 15mm of thread. The head is 10.25mm across and looks to be the next size up allen key hex hole, think yours is a touch more than that but it should tide you over, you don't see both sides at once Wink
If you want it PM me your details and I'll post it.
