Ok i need a new helmet to ride my NSR i can spend about £120 max it needs to be black and yellow (ish) A grade, full face, i also want it to be comfy. i dont like FM helmets so can you give me some makes and models which are in that price range and some web sites that sell them.

this would be helpful

Shouldn't you be wearing the helmet? :P ...sorry, couldn't resist...

Anyhoo, I would advise that you go into a shop and actually try some lids on, rather than order them from a web site...

Hi

The make is less important than the fit. Go into a shop and try on lots of different helmets. It must fit properly. The difference in actual protection from the best legal helmet to the worst legal helmet is irrelevant if the lid doesnt fit properly. Different helmet makes tend to fit people with different shape heads

All the best

Know what you're saying Keith, I won't have a lid unless it's an AGV or OGK cos I don't find other makes a nice fit. Also, I want a decent brand so you know it's been tested well and is a reputable company. Oh and the street cred too.......

AGV TBH ROSSI 500 for £119.99!!

its mainly yellow (as you may have guessed) and looks mint for the money. Its what I've just got and I'm happy with it so far.

Yeah TJ I think AGV lids quality is second to none, but thats just me. I tried on an Arai and it didn't feel right. Also tried on a Suomy, a Shoei, a Bieffe, a lazer, roof, and FM, but AGV and OGK were the only ones that fitted nicely. And at the time most shops round here didn't have the OGK Aeroblade in the colour and size I wanted, and the much wanted FF3 was a bit out of my pricerange, so I settled for £180 on my AGV V10 Patriot, and i'm well impressed with it so far.

Yes, and the AGV helmets dont fit me well at all. The HJC helmets would fit fine, except their sizing seems strange. with a large gap between medium and large

All the best
