The Volvo V40 T4 does 160mph out of the box, the police pursuit cars can reach 180mph... I think they do something like 50mph in reverse too Laughing

Depends which area...some areas, such as Swindon, get to use the latest Scoobys for high speed chases, whereas others still need to rely on the overhead 'chopper...

The latest issue of PB talks about some riders getting caught at very naughty speeds...one of them actually lost the coppers 'cos their car could only 130mph, and later speculated that the rider was doing "up to 180mph"...he got caught 'cos he wobbled on the slip road...d'oh!

What makes me laugh is all of those American police-chase programs where the chases are recorded by TV 'choppers, and they sound really surprised and excited when a car is being chased at "90 miles per hour!" ...

...having said that, the roads in the US and Canada are quite strictly policed, and there isn't really such a thing as a "fast lane" on the motorway/highway...I remember watching the news in Canada when "3 drivers get caught doing 100mph" made the headlines...but the highways in Canada have big, lit-up billboards that say something like "Motorcycles are small, look out for them", which is quite considerate...

its a very nice bike, very good and reliable
i know of some1 who has one and he complains that its too heavy of all things!(hes used to 2 strokes!)
the rvf/vfr are the best all rounders of the 400's and the zxr4 is up there too
i agree with korn, how often do u plan on exceeding 125?
im gettin me an rs250 and setting it up for more acceleration when i do(droppin the top to about 125), as i dont see me me needin much more ever

I've got a 600 not for the extra speed, which if anything I'd prefer not to have as I do occasionally use it Smile, but the 'usability'... being able to turn the throttle in any gear and still get reasonable acceleration.
