Leather Fitment Advice

Hi,

Bought some leather pants from Hein Gericke a while ago... And noticed the knee slider velcro was about 4 inches below my knee, the tops of my boots partially obscure it... Is this right?

I took em back to the shop and they said they were fine, just wanted some peace of mind really.

HG stuff seems to be a bit long in the leg. I have 4 different pairs of their pants and all are about 3 inches too long.

Doesn't matter too much with the jeans and textiles but as you've discovered, with the leathers it puts the sliders way too low.

Only real solution is lose some weight to squeeze into a smaller waiste (hence a shorter leg) or try a different make.

Sounds a bit low but tbh would need to see a picture of you wearing them (preferably in a non-kinky pose).

You can always add some sticky velcro to make the velcro bit higher up.

I once bought a bike of a guy who was 6' 6'' and he chucked in his leathers as I'd just gone back to biking, I'm 5'10'' but my upper body is well built and fitted the jacket but the trousers didn't fit bottom half, in Braintree there was a guy who worked on leather. He measured me up french chalked what to cut out three hours later and £30 perfect. maybe you could look in that direction?

If they are too long then get in touch with Joyda on this forums. They run a leather alteration business in Wigan. They alterewd some HG leathers for me and id a great job .....mine were the same...too long in the thigh (though I am a fat git!)

They do normally sit below your knee for sure, but 4" would put it mid shin wouldn't it?

If these are the same trousers you were thinking were baggy a few weeks ago, I suggest spending a few bob and having them altered.
