Drill them out if the threads are fooked.
Usually they vibrate themselves out. Why do you want them off anyway??
Just for Jamie "The Stokester" Stokes:

The big plastic thing on the back is the heel compression cup thing. ____________________ My Flickr |

If you feel inside the boot where the bolt is, you will feel the back of the nut turning through the lining. Drilling the head off will still leave you with a stud that won't come out.
I tried with mine and in the end couldn't be arsed with the faffing around.
Bizzarly though I was trying to do it to make the inner section dirtier, I thought they looked naff as hell with the pink rubber bit showing through. Fortunately now though they are nicely scrubbed in and dirty as Miis Spears anyway |
