hi,ive just bought a dtr 125 2 stroke,,turns out engine oil is low..

what oil would that engine take Very Happy

Hi

Your looking to be using a good quality two stroke oil for the engine oil.

Gearbox oil is generally 10w40 oil.

manual for my dt125re says to use 10w30 but a local bikeshop said 10w40 would be ok..

Go with what the workshop manual says or buy 10w40 oil, generally works in most machines. Just make sure it is good quality 2 stroke oil.
