Hiya folks,

an idea occured to me today whilst taking the panels off my NSR to assess damage. I was wondering about maybe looking into the idea of getting myself a bike project going. What I had in mind was completely rebuilding myself a bike for when I pass my test (would like to do a 400) from parts from breakers yard, or maybe buying a bike thats nackered and doing it up.

Has anyone done this, or is there any information floating around on the net about it? Is it at all possible to do it from scratch? would love to hear anyone's advice or stories of their own projects.

Many thanks,
Couger.

Check eBay mate

Always plenty of knackers going that would make a decent project. When I got a new bike and some spare cash, I'm gonna get an old banger and do it up to learn about bikes more

It would be cool to get an rs50 or something like that, with a blown engine. It might be possible to fit a mx bike's engine into it, and beat rs125s off the line!
