I've got a GS500F (18 months old) which has an exceeding squeaky back break. It works fine but is an embarrassment as it sounds like I've got a family of mice onboard. Any suggestions?

It has had both the first two services at the correct intervals.

Thanks in advance

put a decent amount of copper grease on the rear of the pads that will sort out the squeel noise.

i use copper grease on the back of my pads all the time, use it on bolt threds to stop them vibrating loose. the grease dampens virbration which causes bolts to come loose and even brakes to squeel as the squeel sound is a virbration after all.

but dont use it for lubrication, as the grease is made up of abrasive particals!
