I have tryed for the past half hour to remove them - So I can polish them up.
I have the bolts which you can see undone and off. I try to remove the plate but its still connected to the lever/Pegs on both sides.
I dont see anyother bolts to undo - and im getting frustrated lol

Remove all 5 bolts then you have to unscrew the adjuster that connects the cylinder to the brake pedal then disconnect the brake light swtich and it should come away with the pedal/footrest attached. There's a bolt on the inside that holds them on. Beware it's on tight Wink. The other side is easier you only have to unscrew the gear rod off the lever.

As Bezzer said you have to remove the whole lot as it all one big cast ally unit.

Let us know how the polishing goes as i would mind giving it a try myself.

Louise, wanna do mine for me? They are disgusting and I can't be bothered to clean them. Though it looks more like rubbing from my boots than dirtiness!

Another question related to K Model Bandits. The black side panels next to air filters on mine are all messed up because of my leathers rubbing on them, what product would be best for clearing this up?
