I haven't touched either program for years and am a bit stuck. I have a small image, about 170x200 and i want to create a background from it. The final image is going to be 1280x1024 so i can't stretch it. I can't just repeat the image over the the 1280x1024 area either because you'll see the joins.

Any pointers tips? Please please help. Crying or Very sad

I've attached the image. Basically it needs to cover a whole area 1280x1024 without being stretched or showing up joins....

you want to find some matching ends , so that they join semi seemlessly , ie look closely for where a pattern begins and ends , and join them all up.

The clone stamp tool has been pretty good. Not exactly what i'm after but it doesn't look too bad.
