not a hope
the cbr 250 will drill an nsr off the line
they pull instantly and have 45 bhp to play with(17 more than nsr)
they are slightly heavier, but forget it, unless hes a complete plank and your a genius u have no hope
cbr does 60 in 2nd gear in about 5 secs
nsr does 60 in 3rd in about 6.8
ive raced my mated fzr250 on my rs, leaves me standin off the line, then with about a 15 yard lead, its stops accleratin away until u hit about 90, then it does again :(

no chance for the honda nsr125 the cbr would kill it in everywhy and anywhy if the nsr can beat it why not just call it a cbr125!! no hope for whoever is rideing th nsr

ON a *really* twisty road the NSR would probably come out better... I've seen the CBR listed as 158kg... pretty heavy, even compared to the moderatley lardy NSR at around 132kg.

The cbr designates a parrelel four configuration, a derestricted NSR250 would give most 400s a good run for their money... obviously a NS500 or NSR500 would thrash any production road bike in allmost all conditions.

a lot depends on the driver too
off the mark the nsr wouldnt stand any chance, but a mate of mine on his nsr (we call him crazy karl!) did beat a guy on a cbr250 around a load of twisties

2 strokes can (potentially) creat twice as much power in half the engine capacity as a four stroke
the cbr 250 is a 4 stroke 250, if it was a 4 stroke 125(varadero etc) it would be piss slow compared to an nsr
an rs or nsr125 will beat the likes of the yamaha zeal 250, suzuki bandit 250, and my rs on top speed will pretty much match a zzr or hornet
its the cbr and fzr that are the quickest 4t 250's
