How many miles did it do before an engine rebuild after the tune.

The bike did 5721 miles then needed new piston and rings

the bike did 98mph with 26mm carb and the pipe did not match the tune it did 107mph with 30mm carb and matched pipe

he said ns125r, rather than the NSR, 88 seemed to be the average top speed for a deristricted ns.

i know some 1 who had there rs tuned to the eye balls and got 120mph out of it but saying that i think having a 125 tuned that much is asking the engine to sieze but 120 out of a 125! mind my standard nsr does 98 and thats an import and i just had a arrow can put on so 100 plus maybe but i never do that speed cos that would be noughty Twisted Evil

Hi

That is only around an extra 8mph on the speedo, and probably around 110mph in reality. Could be fun, but getting the bike to go almost 10% than standard is really asking for trouble with reliability.

All the best

Keith
