Right.

I am 19, unrestricted license, have owned a 600 bandit, sv650s and now a goose. I prefer the goose out of all the above.

I want a new bike. Something with character, and very good handling. That is a must.

Also something quicker, that can handle the odd foreign jaunt in the summer.

Things I have considered have been along the 748/900 monster idea. (Would love an RS250, but probably not the ideal tool for the job)

Fire away. Thumbs Up

R6?

A lot of people presume it's not got 'character' because it's a popular inline four jap bike.

However, the revvy engine and edgy handling are the sort of things I'd consider 'character' - that the bike wants to be ridden hard, tempts you to turn the throttle that bit more and as standard is very agile.

Many, including me don't find it that comfortable for day to day use.

However, it depends if you like the goose for the thrashability with out going stupidly quick or other factors.

Depends on how much money you've got.

I'd suggest a sports 400, similar power to the bandit and SV (bit less) but much better handling and sportier riding position.

In your position I'd definitely want more power though, so I'd have to suggest a sports 600, zx6-r or r6 would be top of my list.

Maybe a 600 SRAD if money's a bit tighter.

And handling. Feels light and flickable.

Also want to use the bike on track. Never really considered an R6 before, will look into that. Dodgy 2nd gear though yes?
