practicing wheelies today in my garden because no one was around

then the front brake was giving me jip, so i pulled up next to my patio door and got off the bike left the engine running, and put my palm flat on the seat to steady it, the bike then started to topple so i grabbed for the nearest thing to steady it which happened to be the throttle handle

see whats comin.....?

grabbed it, it twisted, i heard the engine rev, and i could do nothing cos of my position, thought "oh shit" then it went, ran into the window, scraped all along it, i managed to hold it up so it didnt fall on the concrete then it went into the flower bed churned it up and fell on the grass

the window had a massive scratch along it, which i managed to fade a bit so no one has noticed, and i properly fucked the flower bed, the bike has a bit of a scuff which would have been worse had it dropped on the concrete

but OH CRAP what a stupid thing to do, i properly felt so stupid afterwards, and i emptied a load when it went towards the window

lesson learned, never get off and have the engine running

Craig,
U have to give a scoot some revs before the clutch engages, can leave it idling just by letting go of the throttle

and yes that path goes all the way down the side, if you follow it approx 50 metres from where the pic ends you get to the main road

Was gonna question doing wheelies in your garden... but it kinda makes sense now :)

On the patio above my mums back garden a few years ago I was on my cg... forget the exact details, but I was revving it and manage to knock it into gear with out the clutch....
The bike jumped forward with the front wheel up at 45 degrees and landed half on the patio and half in a hedge coming up from the garden 5ft below, throwing me off while it was at it :? . No one else was in so I had to lever it back onto the patio my self, luckily it was a moderatley sturdy bush though.
