So now my CBR has gone, I have narrowed my choice of new bike down to two: Fazer (600 not the 1000) or an XJ6 Diversion

Took an 09 Divvy out on Saturday and really enjoyed it, but have not managed to get a ride on a Fazer yet.

Is it true that the older fazers are better than the new ones?

I am looking for pros and cons of each bike Thumbs Up

Remember the 900 D is a shaftie compared to the D6 which is chain. Many D6 riders move over to the Fazer.

D6 is a good bike. But after switching to a Versy's I have found the D to be more of a bland bike, but its still a good solid reliable work horse. Cheap to run easy to maintain.

Link to Diversion forun in my sig, take a look and ask a few question if you want Thumbs Up

I just changed my CBR 600 for a FZ6 (non-faired Fazer). So pleased I did, I'm really pleased with it.

the FZ6 is now dead.
Yamaha are bringing the FZ8 out next month.

Get yourself on a XJ6, not as powerful, but a cracking little bike.
