Hello all, I was doing a little research for mine and my dads up and coming build and came across this website, I sat there and read every single bit of text on there, it's a really good read (I thought at least) and there are a few videos of his monster drag bike.

"TWO FACED, the legendary 1300cc double-engined Triumph, was originally so called because it was a bit temperamental due to running 95% Nitro-mixes, which caused many engine blow-ups. It was fitted with two 650cc pre-unit Triumph engines with alloy heads, inlet ports opened to 1-1/4 inches fitted with Wal Philips fuel-injectors, one-piece crankshaft, Somerton cams (later changed to Harman & Collins), alloy valve-collars and lightened rockers. It ran a best standing-start 1/4 mile time of 10.21 seconds ('straight off the trailer' as the Yanks say) at RAF Topcliffe on 16th June 1968. The best 1/4 mile terminal speed was 141 mph, by no means its flat out speed."

Have a gander at the site (itself not great but the content is)

Joe

(I should probably mention that the project I was researching is nothing like this...)
