Took a bit longer than expected due to the shop being too inundated with launch of the new GSXR to get the other bikes out, but finally picked it up today.

1999 ZX9R C2, 23000 miles

Pretty much unmarked apart from a bit of flaking on the wheels. Really quick bike, with so much more torque than the CBR600. Handling is spot on too, with typical rock hard kawasaki suspension Very Happy

To be honest, after just a day with it I can't see myself going back to 600's now. The great thing about this bike is that in some ways it feels physically more imposing (I found the CBR6 a little low really as I'm over 6ft), but is actually about 5KG lighter than the CBR600 with about 40bhp more power. Wish I'd tried litre (well - almost) bikes years ago, but the insurance was too steep at the time. Only cost me £370 for this, which is pretty good for the type of bike and the power.

Now, the only risk is that I start my own business on friday (going self employed) so if I get a stretch of sunny days next week I'll be doing some serious slacking Smile

Oh yeah, in just fits down the path too, which is a bonus.

Couple of quick pics - need to change my avatar now Smile

Nice bike! Wink Great colour, but not too sure about the blue rims though....Looks like it's in great condition.

Self employment does leave you the freedom to take some (bike riding) time off when you feel like it, unless you need the money.... Rolling Eyes
