Restricted NSR125 2002 Speed

i got a brand new NSR125 a couple weeks ago, its all run in etc

i'm sure this has breen asked before but, my nsr will go 75 in 5th gear on a straight but as soon as i change into 6th the rpm + speed slowly drop off. i know the top speed of the nsr is 75 resteicted but i presumed this was in 6th?

+ anyone wanna come de-restrict my bike?

when mine was restricted it was just the same the revs die in last gear it ends up dropping to about 60 65 and u have to knock the gears down its the same with all restricted nsrs ask anyone its because ure bike aint at full power so there aint enough power to drive the last gear properly look at the derestriction guid on this site it tells u every thing u need to know very useful if u cant do it try and find a mate who can help if u cant it means that u mite have to spend a bit at a garage getting it done print of the guide off this site if u take it to a garage then it will shave off a bit of labour time if u live near one of the members of this site they might help

yeah as tanner says there aint enough power to drive the 6th gear properly. ive a 2001 nsr and have the same problem, i find that the gears are very temprimental when trying to reach its top speed. not had it deristricted yet but hear its gonna be a bitch cos its an imported model

my 2001 nsr wont evan hold speen in 6th untill about 90mph get to about 10 grand in 5th gear then do it it should pull you up to the tone mark then
