At long last the series has been out now on DVD for a few months. A couple of guys and I at work go into the police squad routine and it has me in stitches, nearly every sentence and every scene has a gag involved and is American humour at its supreme best.

If you don't know, Police Squad was the forerunner of the Airplane Films and the Movie spin off's were the Naked Gun Films. Leslie Nielsen is a genius in the Police Squad episodes, how he keeps a straight face I'll never know.

loved it when i was a kid but not sure if id watch it more than once if i bought the dvd

I have the vids of the series, but I reckon a trip to Amazon is in order to treat myself to the DVD. Excellent news!
