Hi all,

Just thought I'd say a quick hello as I'm new on here. Been riding for about 8 years and am currently bike-less, due to get some new wheels next month and I can't wait to get out in the sunshine!

Thumbs Up

Welcome to BCF.

A few of the members here are egotistical wankers with an inflated sense of self worth that they use to bash others with for no apparent reason and at any opportunity.

BUT before you run off, the majority of them are a likeable bunch.

Also cats.

Thanks for the welcome both Very Happy

The weather has been fantastic recently, coupled with the TT I've made my mind up to not be without a bike for much longer!

Thanks for the heads up Meef, I've been floating around here as a guest for a while so I've seen what some of the members can be like. Luckily, most of you seem to be pretty decent.

And the rest of you will catch on eventually.

Thanks!

Well, I've had a few sport and touring bikes before but never a classic, so to see what all the fuss is about I've decided on a Bonneville T100 Black.

Sitting at work and looking out the window at the sunshine is torture at the moment!

Not that there's anything wrong with that. I could replace my current bikes with a Bonny and get most of the benefits of both of them in a single package.

Best Bonneville - actually, any bike - review I've seen:

14 hours and 37 minutes to realise that you'll need more than a pair of wheels!

Good going. Thumbs Up

Haha, I've been getting a fair bit of stick from the guys at work about my choice of bike. I've already done the supersports/track day/touring 'thing' so in the spirit of experiencing as much as possible, the Bonnie is next. That's not to say it won't be traded for something else in a few years...
