Ok Here are some pictures of the undertraybeing fitted, not 56k Friendly! the Full cost came to around £70 inc , bracket, indis, number plate and tray.

Picture 1 : The Undertray the day it arrived from U.S.A in a box, now paperwork or fixxing instructions! HURAH!.

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/step1.jpg

Picture 2 : The seatpod! hmm nothing out of the ordinary here me thinks!

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/step1pod.jpg

Picture 3 : The removal of seat pod / old numberplate ( which was like 4" big!) / and removal of indi's

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/step2.jpg

Picture 4 : Step 3 in the process "Let the games begin!"

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/step3.jpg

Picture 5 : Still Cutting...

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/step4.jpg

Picture 6 : And Still Cutting.....

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/step5.jpg

Picture 7 : Still cutting bored of showing the cutting phoase now, so the white lines show what else needed to be gut!

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/step6.jpg

Picture 8 : Align the tray! ( The towl helped alotdon't mock! )

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/step7.jpg

Picture 9 : Align the lights ( Had to use cable ties to fix it to theframe in the end )

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/step7b.jpg

Picture 10 : Replacing the seat pod

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/step8.jpg

Picture 11 / 12 / 13 : Problem i came across after fitting.

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/problem1.jpg

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/problem1a.jpg

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/problem1b.jpg

Picture 14 / 15 / 16 : The problem once fitted the new indi's / bracket and plate

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/undertray12.jpg

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/undertray2.jpg

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/undertray16.jpg

So after alot of messing around i found that the rubber washers under the seat were much too big, probably the lad before me had lost the originals, as once checking the old mans bike his are much much smaller!. So i made some adjustments and fixed the undertray firmly to the frame!

here is the end product! And i know i needed a smaller plate!

First Picture : In this picture you can see the small cable ties holding the undertray tothe frame!

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/cabletie1.jpg

Second Picture : Finished!

https://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w192/GSXRKez/finished1.jpg

Third Picture : another angle

Final Picture : My baby!

That undertray is cool, suits the bike really well.

I've never fitted one before, looks like there's alot of messing about involved?

I know it seems like a bit of a kerffle but could you change the L.E.D's to red and have another brake light?

I'd ditch the indicators and use the LED ones, I can't really see the police pulling out a tape measure and checking the distance between them, just keep the standard indicators for MOT time.

Looks good but that plate looks like its goin to hit the rear tyre when you go over a speed bump or something... The angle looks too steep downwards to me?

Could just be my imagination but looks like you need to either get a smaller plate like you mentioned, or get one of the adjustable Rsends and tilt the plate upwards a bit... Confused

Just curious:

Is your numberplate the 'proper' size?

If not what is it? Smile

I want something that's nearrrllyyy legal, but a little smaller than what is, so it makes the back of my R6 tidier.

Beautiful bike you've got there, really good job fitting it.

Take the indicators off and get a smaller plate. I've got an integrated rear light and had no problems at MOT time. The tester was only worried about the flash rate.

Well, i do need a smaller plate as at the moment it's legal size, i do agree it needs tilting a wee bit Neutral ,

Still looking for a Can tried eBay but keep getting out bidded. looking at getting a Scorpion can, Just got a blue screen and it looks really nice.

Also its not the MOT tester i'm worried about its giving the fuzz another reason to pull me over.

For smaller plate,

I'd definately suggest Roryplates on ebay. 11 quid and it's all there, 6x4's to legal size, any font, with border and GSXR graphics thrown in. Next day delivery is free of course.

I've used him a few times, and they're pretty good as my pic suggests

I get my plate done for around £8 from St.Helens Smile Any size, border text at the bottom and for an extra £1 i can get GSXR ghosted into the background Smile, am just lazy, I got my new can so pictures will be up later, i will also slant the numberplate a little.
