Ok here are the pics of my bike after my accident last year, and yes it did hurt, it fucking hurt

in the process of trying to have him prosecuted n get compensation, but the twat is trying to blame me! yeah he pulled out on me n i hit the side of his car, didnt even have time to reach 4 the break let alone pull it. The bastardish thing is the road is near enough straight with a clear sight line of 95metres (more pix soon hopefully), so it wasnt as if i came hackin round a corner n hit him, he emerged just as i was aproachin the junction, n i had just enough time to say (i quote) FU..... Didnt even get time to finish the sentence. As for injuries, i didnt break ne thing cos i was knocked out as i hit windscreen so i just rag-dolled down the road, but i woke up in shit loads of pain, n not tryin to hype it, but it was bad. Turned out I tore my aorta, (heart artery) n really should have died. but im still here n now got a vfr n a 13inch scar! just a 'little' more wary of cars now, so every one out there please be careful, its them not us who are dangerous.

Ouch, glad you got through that.

Look at the forks on your bike though. Snapped the yokes and bent right back, but the forks dont even look bent!

I'm trying to figure out whether the fact that the bike crumbled to bits is a good or bad thing.....
I had a similar accident, round the 40 mph mark into the side of a car also but the NSR didn't crumble, the bike smashed into the wheel of the car.... from what i gather the forks bent and the bike did its own stoppie before throwing me off and smashing the front end on the bonnet.

But all that was needed was a coupla bits of fairing and the forks straightened......sturdier bike?
That said, this accident coulda happened at 80 for all i know
