Hello all, Smile

Still haven't got off my butt to phone through for DAS yet but how easy was the theory test Very Happy

I've decided before booking DAS I'm going to get all the gear first. Any recommendations for places or maybe buy online?

Any suggestions on leathers (once piece ot two piece?), helmet, etc bearing in mind I wanna look my best Cool

Cheers...

www.motorbikebob.com is good

www.customlids.co.uk sent my sister the wrong lid... twice!

www.dexdirect.com ship things for free in 2-3 days, but I ordered my jacket nearly 2 weeks ago, with no reply to my emails asking whats going on

Thanks for the suggestions. Always good to hear of those to avoid too as I have taken two companies to court already (performance / alarm car related co's).

Avoid Dex. I ordered My kit from them (Jacket, trou, boots, gloves).
They took 2 weeks to ship me the wrong boots and wrong size trou, no jacket. 2 weeks later they finally shipped the right boots and trou and my jacket. I won't ride without leathers so I was stuck.
On the upside they never asked for the wrong kit to be sent back:) So I sold the boots for£50 and the Trou for £80 Very Happy
Motorbikebob were great and so were customlids.

I ordered one of their special offer bundles that they advertise in MCN... again I ordered it over the phone and they still managed to lose my order and I was waiting 2 weeks for that...

I like customlids to be honest, they made a mistake with my sisters order, but i ordered some boots not long ago and they arrived in 3 days, no hassle.

I just ordered a jacket from them, I'll let you know if they bodge that up Wink

Yeah I like custom lids. I got some of my gear from their shop in Newcastle, the staff are friendly and they've got loads of good gear in.
