i was just wondering, your old NSR's, were they both official UK bikes? did you derestrict them both?

what kind of speed were they capable of, cos on some of those vids, it looked like at about 90, that you had no gears left and no revs left

were they able to pull 100 under there own steam on a flat or was that just downhill?

They were both official UK spec bikes. Both did 100mph in 6th gear given enough flat road.

Just to back up - my 98 spec NSR can do 100 given a straight. Give it a bank, I've had a max of 110mph out of it.

It doesn't perform quite so well in the summer though, autumn tends to be the fastest, all that moist air...

AFAIK it's actually cool air, not moist air... when air's cooler it's denser thus there's more oxygen per cc of air so the engine is more efficient.

Sorry, don't mean to sound pedantic... and hi!
