My brother's boss gave me a textile jacket... I have an (armoured) leather one, but its not so good if its raining...

The only thing is I have no armour for the textile jacket... I'm assuming that not all armour is the same here... so does anyone have any kicking about to fit a Frank Thomas 'Aqua/Aquapore' jacket (in large if that makes a difference)?

Cheers peeps...

go to a HG they'll fit you a full set around £40 quid , they used to run an offer of hand in your old non CE or battered stuff and get 1/3 off the new stuff,

they generally come in a few sizes , but all my knox has been compatible with all my other jackets, cept one which needed slightly bgger ones.

Yup hein gericke, you may also want to look into an armoured mesh jacket too , its not really a jacket more of a thin jumper with armour at elbows shoulders and back,

I'm thinking of one of these and removing all the armour out of me jackets , so when its hot like S Europe hot, I can take the jacket off and still have a (limited) degree of impact protection

If the ones you're thinking of are MX/off road ones, I suspect they would fair badly in a road crash at speed. Probably ok going slow.

I've been thinking about this sort of thing. The Knox Cross shirt got good reviews in one magazine a while ago:

Of course it's twice as much, but I prefer the Knox armour I own to the Hiprotec stuff in my HG jacket.
