exhaust maintanace

Hi H have a nsr125r, 2 stroke as you know they have alot of oil deposit, bikes been running abit sluggy recently was wondering could a slightly clogged exhuast do this?

i have cleaned around the manifold and replaced the gasket but there dont seem no physical way to clean the silencer out apart from saw-ing it open would i be better off just trying to find a whole new system or would it be worth buying a cheap can?

i think tyga performance do a cheap can, can anyone tell me if this is suitable for my bike

blog one end up with a potato and fill it up with a caustic soda solution. Leave it for a few hours and when you empty it out, wash it with clean water and it should be fine.

Just dont get that stuff on your hands or in your eyes, its really nasty stuff, and dont use it on aluminium, it disolves it.

oh ok thanks for the info, i dont suppose you know a good place to get a new set of sprockets and chain aswell do you?
