Where do I find them? Preferably online? Need one for the ZZR400.
I've also heard about restrictors with a trigger switch, so you can turn the restrictor on of off?? I can't find anything.

Cheers

They're usually for electronically restricted doo-dahs (very technical Razz) like rev limiters, and not for the 33bhp kits (which I assume is what you are talking about...?)

...most bike garages should be able to supply and fit the relevant kit...dunno much about Kwaks, but the Honda V4 kits cost about £200 for a professional job...

Go to this site:

https://home.clara.net/survivalskills/25kwmcs.htm#33bhp%20Restrictor%20Kits

The link to fininternational.com is no longer in use. Give them a ring on the number in the web page they will supply and answer all questions over the fone.

The FI kit will come with a certificate for your insurance company!

Remember, no certificate or manufacturer will gurantee the bike is really restricted, in law, if required, it up to you to prove the power output!

That means that as long as you can prove the bike is restricted by any means you like, to 33bhp your O.K.

The Kits usualy consist of small washers that fit into the intake of the carbs, if you can find washers the same as the kit for about 50p, fit them yourself, and get it dyno checked to 33bhp. THAT'S ALL YOU NEED Smile
