At some point one of the bolts holding the top half of my carbs has gone walkies! and the other one was very close to coming out was well! Shocked

thinking this might account for some grumbles the bikes been making lately..

Remember folks, if it had sprung washers before, make sure to fit some when you put em back together too Wink

And also..

Thought I'd check my battery.. hmm that's odd i can't see any.. because it needed 2/3 10ml syringes full of water to top it up on each and every cell that's why! (i suspect its been lost after spending an evening on its side while campin in't gale force 90 winds)

I'd been annoyed its been hard to start recently, its amazing its starting at all! Shocked (on the trickle charger now)

So, if your bikes spent any time on its side, check the battery level Wink

(more twattish realisations later)

Yer definitely having a gel battery (or glass mat, which I'd never heard of till now 0_o) if and when this one needs replacing..

Actually if i get what I'm planning it'll have a car battery anyhow Laughing*
