Hello, anybody know where i can pick up a brand new or newish 2001 NSR CDI.... gonna reaplce the 02 CDI with the 01 so i can get full power from me (future) 02 NSR

If I were you I'd try and de-restrict your new bike the standard way first before splashing out... I see no reason for Honda to suddenly stick in a restricted CDi unit on the 2002 bike, until you know it's restricted don't waste your money.

if things go well im orderin the bike on thurs or fri, gettin an alarm fitted and havin it sign written by a m8 in a week or so after. might get some purple light tubes for under panels might look nice around town on an evening Very Happy

all the peds at chelsea bridge put purple lights underneath their bikes!!

i saw a gsx with then and a zxr4 and they looked quite trick

I agree with Korn make sure it's restricted first, and eve if it is why splash out on a new CDI unit??? I know taffspeed can derestrict the Honda moped CDI's so I'm guessing they'd sort you out for an NSR CDI, https://www.taffspeed.co.uk think it's about £35 they charge for the moped CDI's, so I would guess it would be no more than £50 for an NSR CDI to be derestricted, this seems like a better option cos from what people on the forum reckon new CDI's are between £200 and £300, which is a bit OTT.
