Hi there, this is my first post and am in need of some technical advice please.

I have a 2001 Yamaha Aerox 50 that has developed the odd drip of oily coolant from behind the crankcase cover after each use. I've kept a close eye on the coolant level and it doesn't seem to have dropped significantly. The bike is running well. I've removed the water pump housing cover and checked the seal and all looks fine.

Any ideas? Is it something to be concerned about?

Thanks

You need to check there isn't a big air pocket in the top of the radiator. Remove the radiator cap, it should be full right up to the top. Note that the radiator cap says something like "NEVER REMOVE WHEN HOT" on the top of it - that's really good advice Smile

If there is air it there, top it up and hope to hell it doesn't happen again.
