Im sure ive seen a post on here - Sorry but I could find it. I just wanted to say I saw one yesterday. Bunch of 4 police bikes went past near Arundal with a Police Harley up front, very nice and a very nice sound too. Then another went past, a Sports bike - I couldnt see modle or have any idea what it was. But from what I saw it was gorgeous.
Then the same bunch went past me at Hove.
Any one know what sport model they are trialing!?

If I remember rightly, they were trialing Fireblades a while back, the police seem to have a penchant for them.

Generally these sorts of vehicles are used for show and donated by appropriate companies.

I seem to remember one of the police forces (think its staffs or something) operating a Gixxer 1000.
Harleys should stay over in fattyland imo.

I saw the same bike cluster yesterday heading out towards Eastbourne way yesterday afternoon (about 5ish I think)

Sussex police used to have a GSXR1000 & an R1 a couple of years ago, was only used as a promotional bike as far as I'm aware although both had blues & two's.

I read the title and was hoping the Harley would be found guilty...

Yep, I had rideout with a copper on a custom blade at the bikesafe event. They get silly stuff too. Like this...

The best bike is still the Pan European. Looks good on police colours. Harley looks wrong.
