just bought the bike yesterday for £1,000 2003 model.
now the second day and its leaking oil.does anyone know of any common places on this bike where it would leak oil from?from what i can see its comig from around near the carb area. i dont think its 2-stroke oil because its too dark so im guessing its gearbox oil.i took the tank and things off today but i still cant figure out where its coming from.its only leaking while its running, then stops after about 5 mins once stopped....any ideas anyone?
if i cant get any info online ill take it to a bike shop the morra, but i thought id try and save myself some money if its not a major thing,so any guesses at all where it could be coming from would be a great help...
p.s. when i stripped the bike down i noticed there was a wiring clip unconnected and a single white/red stripe wire undone aswell just above the powervalve.ive plugged them back in but it doesnt seem to have made any difference?any ideas what they were?

thanks dave

Clean all the oil off run the bike then look again where it it leaking from. Oil only goes downhill so it will be the highest point.

Oh and your Tax Disc is displayed on the wrong side, it should be on the near side. Wink
