Right. My profession is a vinyl technician, which means I can create vinyl decals for anything from a motorbike to an arctic truck!

I have been thinking about buying my own cutter and selling race rep decals online. Or would it be better to leave the design up to each individual?

I wanted to know from you guys if this would be a good investment ie lots of people would buy the vinyl or not. Opinions please!

I just want a basic idea as I don't really wanna spend money on something thats not gonna be used!

I used to use the little one at college and sell the nickname cutouts to people, made a tidy profit.... though I had no overheads Laughing

there was plenty of interest, you need to work out if you can do it and make it profitable... including getting the machine

Ok cool so if people know its there and they can get whatever they like then you think that it could be profitable. Right, so what I need to do is spread the word that I'll be able to do this and see whar response I get.

If I get enough interest then it would be worth it and the cutter will pay for itself.

I better start asking! Thumbs Up

If, as you put it, you are a "professional vinyl technician" already, then surely you would know all you need to know anyway?

I work in the business I have never run my own before I know how to do it and apply it, but I am not involved in the pricing of it thats the owner's job here.

This is the start to looking into doing this thing on my own rather than working for someone else!

Swaffs is the man to talk to, he makes the bcf stickers.

Don't buy one of them shitty creation efforts from ebay though, they are a pain in the arse to set up the software is out of date and difficult to use and it costs you a fortune in postage to send them back. trying to talk my brother into buying a nice roland.

If your a dab hand at fitting them then you can make very good money.
