yay..

rode the GPZ into work today, and have the MOT booked for this evening (5pm)

Fortunately, since the bike is wearing a Ti race can, I've found an MOT center where the tester is "a little hard of hearing" so I should pass, allowing me to ride the bike until I get the Motad Nexxus road legal system when I get paid....

that being said, the race can is WELL fruity, but the problem is the carb isn't set up for it, so you have to be careful to keep the revs up, as it doesn't like idling..

Still.. I'm on the road at feckin last!

Nope.. MOT fail...

it sprung a leak from the gear selector shaft seal, and pished oil all over the back tyre...

it's also got a damaged rear wheel adjuster, and it needs a fork seal...

I'll ptobably replace the grips while I'm at it, as I don't think they'll survive much longer... and I detected a couple of stiff links in the chain,,, so bit more work required...

still... it was good to get out and take the bike for a run, even if it was just to know that I rebult the engine correctly...
