https://ratbike.org/show/

You don't need a rat to attend but if you have one it'll fit right in Wink

Theres bands and all sorts of shenanigans going off, have a look through the gallery to see previous years, although this year is going to be pretty huge, i was at last years and it was a proper laugh.

I know its not really everyone's thing Laughing But there's at least 5 who frequent this here forum going..

£7 to pre book, £10 on the day..

Get on the M6 down to Knuxford or whatever it's called then off to Macclesfield, then you can take the Cat n Fiddle to Buxton Cool Then A6 to Matlock/Ambergate and A610. It's about 2 hours ride, so not really very far.

If you splash out on a copy of Back Street Heroes you will find a comprehensive list (as well as some interesting rally reports and custom built bikes).

www.bikers1.com has a rally calendar but it isn't as detailed as BSH.

What's MFN when it's at home?

It's the rat and survival bike show as organised by Stefan off ratbike.org.

I'm a regular mfn goer, in fact i was there last night, you may have noticed my cx with the ad gaffataped to the back Laughing (the lights had all fallen off unfortunately Sad ) You should defenately have noticed naths bike with a small crowd arround it!
Theres a thred on the midlands forum actually Thumbs Up (there most wednesdays)

(mfn is "middle of fecking nowhere" the big club thing where its being held)

Ace thats good Thumbs Up will you be on the jawa? big chris was on a really iffy zxr750 last year Laughing hopefully he'll have his triumph to go on, i remember a tony but not sure if its the same one or not?..

I'll have to mention the nabd thing to stefan, its such a huge rally and its really going to make it difficult to make the number there hoping for i think :/

I'll probably take the KLE. The Jawa is actually almost standard and not all that untidy really (other than the handpainted military style paintjob). The KLE has been messed about with a bit.

Chris may be able to borrow said ZXR again (with functioning swingarm and half-decent chain), otherwise it will be his distressingly clean and red tiger 900.

Tony was on a red MZ TS250 last year. Pale guy, long black hair. He'll be taking a VFR750 this year though.

Yet another shameless bump..

Last day to prebook is today!

sw- Spent the last few minutes before leaving helping to hold the ninja straight while somebody else twatted the chain adjusting assembly with a stick+hammer and chris pulled the back wheel, i was relieved when he posted he'd got home alive..

If anyone tries to tell you that they're the rally secretary and that the show has been cancelled. They aren't and it hasn't.

And if I find out it's someone from here, there will be trouble! Evil or Very Mad

Theres one guy coming on the train, a couple in cars (due to reasons from none mot'ed bikes to shoulders resembling jelly with broken crockery mixed in)
If you wanna go via the train i'll give you a lift from the nearby station Laughing

Should be great though, been looking forward to this since.. well.. the last one Laughing
