Hi everyone,
I thought some of you would like some more info on Tony so here it is.
Tony or (ants) as he was known to us was born on 8th November 1978 in Basildon Essex. After leaving school he joined the RAF. His last post was at Brixe Norton as an SAC in General engineering section., he had served in the Falklands, Canada and Kuwait.

He spent two tours of duty in the Gulf during the Gulf war and was decorated twice for his service there.

Apart from Alfa 155s he had two bikes: a Honda 400 and a Suzuki gxr 750, which he had bought in July.

Tony was tragically killed on the road out of Carterton and Brize Norton just as it reaches the A34 Swindon -Oxford road whilst riding his Suzuki. The cause of the accident is unknown. The accident site is marked by a small wooden cross with a plaque upon it. If any one wishes to pay their respects, please contact me for full location details. -Anthony Lee Payne, 8th November 1978 - 21 August 2006

A rideout for Ranger (tony's username) was organised in November in honour of him by the Gixerjunkies suzuki owners club. The day was arranged to finish the journey Tony was on when he was killed. The first bike is his girl-friends, carrying tony's ashes and his alfa followed the bikes to Foxes Diner, 11 miles from Brize. To view this video go to :
