OK I tell a lie, it was my second... but the first time I was only pillion!

Awesome is the word for it! Mr. Green Can't believe how many bikes there were and my dad said that's nothing compared to Wednesday nights in the summer! People doing wheelies as they blast up the road etc was cool too! My GPZ looked tiny sat next to all the other bikes though Embarassed .

I followed my dad up there on his ZX9R with my girlfriend on the back of the GPZ. Was a nice ride up there through the twisties (bit harder with an extra 7st10 on the back though I suppose!) but came back along the motorway on the way back to save time. The girlfriend bought a new helmet and some new gloves (she was using borrowed ones). She got a pink and black HJC helmet and some black Frank Thomas gloves with a pink stripe to match it Rolling Eyes Smile .

Anyone else there? Think I was the only GPZ500 there so someone may have seen me...

You were a week early! Razz

There's a big BCF meet being planned in the North section for next weekend, go have a look if you've not seen it!

For anyone else out & about next Sunday (although this has been organised for weeks so it's probably going to rain, a lot) people will be riding in to Squires from several different directions on the 1st April, aiming to start arriving from about 12.30. No rideout planned, just ride in with your own group or at your own pace, meet up for a coffee and a chat, then leave when you are ready.

All welcome!

Except for the guy the other year who wheelied into the front of a van. He didn't get a chance to make that mistake again. Not cool.

Sadly I'll be even further north in Carlisle/Penrith watching some junior rugby with the family.

FWIW I understand 2 other bikers died on North Yorks roads this weekend Thinking BBC link here.
