NSR more reliable. Mito's have dodgy electrics.

Personally I'd say RS125.

For looks and outright performance - Mito.

For reliability and useability - NSR.

never been on a mito but from what people say they are good to have until they start to fuck up, overall id go for the nsr for the simple fact which many have pointed out their reliability and typical honda quality.

= NSR

NSR's need servicing more often that 8000 miles. Probably every 2500miles same as rs125's.

hi chaps

i have had my mito for 10 months now with out a day trouble it is fully derestricted gets red lined all the time and it loves it. it starts first time everytime, it as never let me down. thay are good bike if you look after them, service it every 5000km. there is one thing wrong with the bike the seating it can be a bit uncomtable on long runs, but dont let that put u off,and it will out handle alot of bigger bikes.

Mitos come with steering dampers as standard, which must say something about their stock parts...the NSR and RS handle pretty well without the need for dampers etc...

I think that NSRs hold their value better than the other 2 bikes...the RS and Mito have both had price cuts this year, and I have seen import machines (new) for around £2700 - £2800.

I personally think that NSR would be the best bet for most people, and that the other 2 bikes are trying to be things that they're not...

NSR, always honda for reliability, also vaguely cheaper to insure and run, and easier to get hold of.

Actually, as Robby has pointed out, another major selling point for Honda is availability...

...and the fact that there are more Honda specialists out there than Aprilia and Cagiva...although if you buy your bike from a reputable/large chain dealership, then there shouldn't be a problem anyway...

plus

honda is about to go with solo dealers, that only sell honda cars and bikes

so chances are your bike will be looked after better if serviced at these places

are sevicing costs higher at a proper honda garage than a little one? my local garage is just a 90 year old guy who owns and a 30 year old guy who is the mechanic, nice guy too and knows his stuff well. by the sound of it you guys live near some pretty rough garages.

Hi

The Mito only really has a steering damper for looks (hell, my Bimota has a steering damper but without changing the head angle using the optional bearing caps it is so stable that there is no way you need the damper). If anything it is slow steering.

The Freccia is very quick steering though

All the best

hi chaps
the stock parts that are on the mito are what is on the ducati 916 breaks front forks same front disk same steering damper.i just insured it for £119 and parts are easy to get.i bent my gear leaver last friday morning i phoned 3cross motocycles ordered a new one and it was at my door saturday morning so parts ant hard to get. i think cagiva used to own ducati so that is why the to bikes are similar. all the three bikes have there problems, it is what u like at the end of the day. i like the nsr but for me the mito just won. and i think why the rs and the mito go bang is that when people deristrict them thay dont set them up right and runnung them lean dont help, if u set them up right the engine will last forever.

Fairly certain a fair few parts can be swapped over, but not all by a long way. On the Freccia the mirror / indicator pods are shared with the Ducati Paso, and plenty of other bits are commen as well.

All the best

i believe that parts could be swopped for the 916 parts, but i doubt they come stock on the mito... its kind of like parts on the nsr can be swopped for parts on the cbr6 and cbr/rvf4 but do not come standard on the nsr Exclamation

???
