I am sure that there will be a 17 year old boy, just gagging to help you, here in a very short time. Mr. Green

I'm not an expert on moped tuning by any means, but I think you'd be better off putting some "speed holes" in.

here is the 17 year old boy. Well go sell it and get a Derbi Gpr or an Aprilia RS 50 , then get i think its called the twin brothers sports can, one of my brothers mates got an extra 5mph out of that. Then you could also buy a bigger carb for it. He is on his way doing that now. Overall I would say its a waste of money, get your full test done when your 17, buy a cbr 600 and in 2 more years time you will have a 100bhp bike.

Just a quick bit of advice, get a red power-band and get any sports exhaust, will add atleast 40mph and 20bhp to your bike Thumbs Up

Also like said driling holes in your exhaust and air-box make it go faster! Laughing Laughing

And don't forget, drilling the ECU can add at least 12bhp and 90mph Thumbs Up

Erm.

A sports exhaust is about the only mod worth making to any 50cc, bar a 70 kit, as it derestricts it, making it faster. Everything else is a waste of time.

As to which one you get, whichever one you can afford and like the look of, they all do exactly the same thing.

You can save money and and not bother with the mods, not worth the extra speed financially, plus it's only a little more speed.

Wanna ride? Wink

I believe the term "twatted" should have a double 'T', my friend. For that wonderful double syllable, that synchronises so nicely with the thwack of your hand around the boys lug. Thumbs Up

Surely it wouldn't cost much more to sell it and put the money you got from the sale and the money you were going to spend derestricting it on a 125?

Probably not an awful lot more. I wouldn't know, I've never tried to insure a 50. Especially considering you should technically tell your insurers that it's derestricted.
